Apple Thunders Amazing
The new ultra-high-speed computer connection introduced on Apple Mac-Book Pro laptops in 2011 is something quite amazing. The Technology, called Thunderbolt, comes from Intel, and it is capable of sending two separate streams of 10 gigabits (or 800 megabytes) per second of data. That's enough to download a 20-gigabyte HD movie in 30 seconds. Thunderbolt is a new brand name for a technology called Light Peak. Light Peak transports high-speed signals between computers, displays, and peripherals.
